How it is selected & specified.
Conductive level switches are simple point-level systems for water, wastewater and other conductive liquids.
They are not suitable for non-conductive oils or solvents and should be checked for coating, corrosion and electrode contamination.
Conductive Level Switch is presented as a configurable WELK product family. Final model limits, wetted materials, process connection, certificate and output signal are confirmed from the selected datasheet before quotation.
Point level switch selection starts from medium behavior, alarm point, mounting direction, density or dielectric, buildup risk, process connection, power and contact logic.
Conductive switches only work with conductive liquids; they are not suitable for oil or non-conductive media.
