The compact ultrasonic level sensor is the short-range product family for small tanks, coolant tanks, dosing vessels, utility water systems and OEM machinery. It focuses on a small installation footprint and simple output options.
The compact type is not a universal substitute for a full transmitter. It is best where the liquid surface is stable, the mounting point is close to the tank centerline and the required range is short.
For shallow tanks, the blind zone is often the deciding factor. The maximum level must remain below the sensor's non-measuring area, and the beam must avoid walls, pipes, agitators and filling streams.
WELK can quote different output versions depending on whether the buyer needs continuous level, a local controller input or a high/low switching signal.
