How it is selected & specified.
Differential pressure level transmitters convert liquid head pressure into level, especially for closed tanks and pressure vessels where tank vapor pressure must be compensated.
WELK quotes this as a process transmitter configuration, not as a simple submersible probe. Tank drawing, density, pressure, temperature, seal material and capillary length are required.
Differential Pressure Level Transmitter for Tanks is presented as a configurable WELK product family. Final model limits, wetted materials, process connection, certificate and output signal are confirmed from the selected datasheet before quotation.
Pressure-based level selection starts from liquid density, range, cable length or process connection, diaphragm style, material compatibility, output signal and ventilation or remote-seal layout.
For tank level, DP/span calculation must include density, wet/dry leg condition, elevation and seal fill fluid.
