How it is selected & specified.

Air-purge radar is a high-frequency radar level meter configuration for solids or sticky vapors where dust or buildup may cover the antenna surface.

This self-cleaning radar option is handled as project-reviewed configuration; WELK quotes it as a configured radar package with purge connection, antenna selection and installation notes confirmed by project.

80 GHz Radar Level Meter with Air Purge is presented as a configurable WELK product family. Final model limits, wetted materials, process connection, certificate and output signal are confirmed from the selected datasheet before quotation.

Radar selection starts from medium dielectric, measuring distance, nozzle size, vapor/foam/dust condition, pressure, temperature and whether the antenna needs purge, aiming or hazardous-area approval.

Air purge is useful when dust or condensation can coat the antenna; purge air must be clean, dry and compatible with site practice.
