How it is selected & specified.
Cable guided wave radar is a specific guided-radar variant for taller vessels or selected solids where probe length makes a rigid rod impractical.
WELK confirms tank height, dielectric, buildup risk, agitation, probe tension, mounting connection and whether the cable must be anchored.
Cable Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is presented as a configurable WELK product family. Final model limits, wetted materials, process connection, certificate and output signal are confirmed from the selected datasheet before quotation.
Radar selection starts from medium dielectric, measuring distance, nozzle size, vapor/foam/dust condition, pressure, temperature and whether the antenna needs purge, aiming or hazardous-area approval.
Flexible cable probes are useful for tall tanks and selected solids, but anchoring and tensile load must be checked.
