Guided wave radar is a continuous level technology for liquids, slurries and some bulk solids where the radar path should be physically guided.
Interface measurement can be reviewed when the upper and lower liquids have suitable dielectric contrast and a stable interface.
Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is presented as a configurable WELK product family. Final model limits, wetted materials, process connection, certificate and output signal are confirmed from the selected datasheet before quotation.
Radar selection starts from medium dielectric, measuring distance, nozzle size, vapor/foam/dust condition, pressure, temperature and whether the antenna needs purge, aiming or hazardous-area approval.
Guided wave radar is preferred when the tank is narrow, the surface is turbulent, or interface measurement is required.
