How it is selected & specified.
Coaxial guided wave radar is a more specific configuration of guided radar for applications where open rod or cable probes are not the best fit.
WELK confirms dielectric constant, viscosity, buildup, probe length, process connection, chamber size and whether the duty is total level or interface.
Coaxial Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter is presented as a configurable WELK product family. Final model limits, wetted materials, process connection, certificate and output signal are confirmed from the selected datasheet before quotation.
Radar selection starts from medium dielectric, measuring distance, nozzle size, vapor/foam/dust condition, pressure, temperature and whether the antenna needs purge, aiming or hazardous-area approval.
Coaxial probes are normally used on clean liquids and low-dielectric applications where a controlled signal path is helpful.
